1x4 HDTV Multiroom Pack (Sky+HD edition)

Developed as a professional multiroom system and using the very latest HDMI signal processing, the HDanywhere™ 1x4 HDTV Multiroom Hub converts the HDMI signal so that it can be transmitted along Cat5e/6 cable without losing any definition. At the display end, a passive (no need for additional power connection) Receiver (RX) converts the 2 x Cat5e/6 cabling back to HDMI for connection to the display. The HDMI transmission remains totally uncompressed so pixel-for-pixel, it is exactly the same as using a direct HDMI cable as there is zero loss of quality.

Through the RX, full IR remote control of the HDMI source (such as pause, rewind etc) is possible as if you were sitting right in front of the box. An infrared magic eye connected to the RX receives the remote control signals and sends them back to the central hub, where a transmitter beams them out to the source. The result is uncompressed 1080p video signals and HD audio with full remote control at every display location.

DIY installation is easy with just two Cat5e/6 cables needed per display. For Sky HD users, 3 x additional official Sky HD remotes are supplied for use at the newly Sky HD enabled TVs.

Each HDanywhere™ 1x4 HDTV Multiroom Hub and the Display Receivers have integrated mounting brackets for easy, out-of-the-way installation.

Product Notes:
*HDcable recommends using good quality Cat6 cabling for best performance. Cat5e cabling can be used, but the achievable transmission distances will be reduced by roughly 20%.
**To ensure 3-D Blu-ray content is routed via the Matrix, any connected non-3-D compatible display must not be ‘active’ (i.e. powered off or in standby mode). The 3-D source player must not be able to ‘see’ a 2D only display connected to the matrix.
