3D video requires substantial data bandwidth. To view 3D over HDMI you require any ‘High Speed HDMI cable’. These can be labeled as either: ‘High Speed’ or ‘High Speed with Ethernet’ and are limited to a maximum HDMI cable length of 8m. To view 3D make sure that your cable is labled as one of the above.

OK, so that’s cables taken care of, what about other HDMI connectivity hardware such as HDMI switchers, splitters, matrixes or extenders? Essentially the same rules apply. HDMI connectivity hardware requires High Speed HDMI signal throughput capabilities to support 3D.
