Convert the analogue video signals from a component video or a computer VGA connection in to an upscaled digital HDMI signal for use with HDMI supported displays.
For example the VGA connection found on most laptops can be converted to HDMI for use on most modern HDTVs enabling better viewing of online media players such as the BBC iPlayer, YouTube, iTV Player, 4OD, Sky Player, Demand Five etc.
The unit also encompasses an analogue audio input so that both video and audio can be encoded in to the HDMI signal.

Note: The unit supports DDC protocol allowing for the automatic resolution settings adjustment - power on your PC after the converter unit has been connected to the display. If DDC protocol is not supported by your PC this function will not work. Please manually set your graphics card resolution and refresh rate one listed below.

Star Rating out of 5? I needed to connect a TV with an HDMI input to a PC so we could display a photos slideshow. I had purchased a cable advertised as VGA to HDMI but, of course, this didn't work as VGA is analogue and HDMI is digital! I found an online forum discussing this issue and there was a link to this product. I promptly ordered one and it arrived the next day! I am pleased to report that it was easy to set-up and worked first time.
