Our HDMI Extender/Repeater simply and effectively enables you to connect two long HDMI cables together to create a longer length cable without any loss of signal quality.
The unit is not mains powered, it draws upon the power on the HDMI signal bus to effectively amplify, enhance and repeat the signal, eliminating any signal loss or noise, equalizing and stabilizing the transmission, but most importantly maintaining all 100% pure digital signal performance to be continued over the newly adjoining cable length.
For even greater distances, just add another extender/repeater block to create a daisy chain of cables and extender units.
We recommend using cable lengths to a maximum of 15 metres with this product. For scenarios required even longer HDMI cable lengths please using out 35m Active HDMI cable or a HDMI over CAT5 solution for more reliable and effective results.

What will this adapter work with?
This adapter can be connected to join any two HDMI cables (under 5 metres). The adapter can be used in cable runs connected to any HDMI supported devices include Blu-ray players, PS3, SKY HD, Xbox 360 Elite, Vigin V+ boxes, laptops and computers, amplifiers, AV Receivers, HDTVs, displays and projectors. Look out for the HDMI logo on your device, if it is there – this adapter can be used with it with no loss of signal quality.
Can this adapter be used to join 2 long HDMI cable lengths?
It is not impossible, but it is certainly not advisable. If your require long joined cable runs longer than 10 – 15 metres there are additional options available to you. We recommend using our HDMI cables with this product, available up to 15 metres in length. However, if your require lengths longer than this there are additional options available to you. For more specialist installations we also stock 35m HDMI extender cable and HDMI over CAT5 solutions which can potentially allow your cable run to extend beyond 50 metres.
