Star Rating out of 5? Have today received this cable from above supplier (ultra quick postage I might add, less than 48hrs). The cable performs perfectly with Canon 5D mk2, the picture quality through HDMI in 1080p movie mode is A++.
As the other comment here states , I also, cannot compare with the Canon cable, but this cable produces quality on par with anything else I view via Sony 52" 1080p LCD.

Star Rating out of 5? I have recently purchased a Canon HG 20 HD camera which does not normally come with the £95 Canon HDMI cable... When I used this cable linked to the Sony Bravia 40 inch the video quality was superb! In camera cine mode its better than Sky HD and on par with the Denon HD DVD that delivers 1080p. No, I cannot compare this to the Canon cable but I can't see that further improvement in picture quality is possible? I use top quality Qunex HDMI-p cables for my DVD & Sky HD.
This cable is an excellent buy and looks well made. It gives a substantial improvement on S-video or triple-plug connection, was ordered late on Sunday evening arriving first post Tuesday - top marks!(Posted on 12/05/2009)
