The Pro-2 Range 2 output HDMI Compact Splitter enables you to show the images from a single HD source device (such as a HD Satellite Receiver, Games Console, Blu-ray or DVD Player) to 2 HD displays or projectors simultaneously.
The unit is a basic design, small and compact, featuring 24k gold input/output connector contacts and a silver finish casing. The unit does not require mains power when using cables under 5 metres in length, however for more reliable signal performance over long cable runs, the unit also features an inbuilt pre-emphasis function that can become active when using the mains power supply (included).
As with all of our Pro-2 Range of HDMI connectivity products, the unit conforms to a strict ethos of having a very high specification whilst remaining highly affordable and superb value for money. A high-quality product aimed at the budget-conscious, but demanding savvy buyer.

What will this HDMI splitter work with?
This splitter unit has been designed to be compatible with a wide range of HD devices such as Blu-ray players, PlayStaion®3, Sky HD, Xbox 360, Vigin+, laptops and computers (connections permitting) amplifiers, HDTV’s and projectors. Look out for the HDMI logo on your device, if it is there this unit should be compatible with it.
I need to run a HDMI connection longer than 15 metres from the unit, what do you recommend?
A HDMI extender/repeater block will extend the range of your cable run connected to the switcher. However, for a more more specialist and reliable solution we also stock extra long active HDMI cables as well as HDMI over CAT5 solutions which can potentially allow your cable run to extend beyond 50 metres.
What is the difference between a Switcher and a Splitter?
A switcher is designed for use with one display. A splitter is designed for use with multiple displays. A switcher will allow you to connect multiple inputs devices to a single display with only one HDMI input available for example. A splitter will allow you to split a signal to multiple displays, an example would sending a Sky Sports HD image to 4 screens simultaneously around a bar.
How does this switcher differ to your Infinius splitter models?
The primary difference between the two ranges is the quality of construction and assembly of the units. The Infinius range uses more expensive internal components and is more robust in build-quality. The Infinius range also has USB connectivity with the potential to upgrade the unit's firmware. The Pro-2 range is designed more with simplicity and 'no frills' functionality and budget in mind. The Infinius is a high-end unit of an extremely high caliber and the Pro-2 is a functional but still effective design.

I used this splitter to take a single HDMI signal from a Sky HD box (Amstrad) to two HD television sets one being a 50" LG set (25 metres away from the source connected via a 25m active HDMI cable also purchased from here (HD Cables), and the picture quality is perfect. It was a simple plug and play arrangement.
