What to do if you have bought a product and it doesn't work

The first thing to do is contact the HD Cable customer care team. Please contact us prior to returning it, as we may be able to assist troubleshooting the problem to determine whether the product is in fact not compatible. It may well be that the product is compatible, and you just need some set up advise. Our team will be able to help.

Warranty Details

In the highly unlikely event that your HD Cable product stops functioning properly, you can return it to us for a free replacement, dispatched within 24hrs of receiving your faulty product. All you have to do is simply get the product back to us!

7 Day Money Back Promise

If you change your mind about your HD Cable purchase for whatever reason, you may return the item, unused, in its original condition along with full packaging and proof of purchase within 7 days of delivery for exchange or a refund (less original postage costs). Bear in mind that HD Cable will not be liable for any return postage costs incurred by the customer in this situation.

NB: Any faults deemed to be caused by accident, neglect, intent, or misuse will be not be entitled to a replacement product.

Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

Products returned under the reasons of:

  • The cable length is unsatisfactory
  • The wrong cable type was purchased in error
  • The customer has changed their mind over the purchase.

Will be subject to a £5 re-stocking and administration fee. We feel this is a reasonable charge as HD Cable are not at fault and should not be liable for the additional costs incurred to resolve the situation for the customer.

NB: Cables returned that are faulty will not be subject to any re-stocking/additional fees to the buyer. All returned cables are tested. If the cable is found not to be faulty it will be returned to the customer without exchange or refund.

IMPORTANT: The HD Cable guarantee is a replacement guarantee only. Products returned outside the 7-day money back period will not be entitled to a refund.
