The HD Cable 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switcher-Splitter is a high-performance device that offers the user maximum versatility within their set-up, allowing the connection of 4 HD source devices to 2 displays and easily switch between them.
The matrix element of the unit gives the user the choice of routing the input of their choice to the output of their choice, even if they desire a different input to be shown on each of the displays.
At any time, the user has complete control of their set-up, eliminating the need to remove and replace cables between the user’s desired device and display combination.
Any source is accessible at any time to be displayed on either display. For example a PS3 can be routed to show on output A whilst SkyHD is being shown on output B.
The unit can also synchronize an input to be shown simultaneously on both displays.

Operation of the unit is extremely simple via the use of the special matrix slimline remote control.
The unit is compact and robust in design, encompassing a metal casing and 24K gold input connections. The unit has been specifically designed to support flawless 100% signal performance up to FullHD 1080p on every output, with full support for the highest specification HD devices.
The unit can easily accommodate all HD resolutions right up to and including FullHD 1080p. The unit can also achieve resolutions of 1440p when used in conjuction with high performance computer graphics cards.
