The HD Cable 2x1 HDMI auto switch allows the user to simultaneously connect 2 HD source devices to 1 input and easily switch between them.
The unit is small and compact in design and does not require mains power when using cables under 5 metres in length. However a mains power supply is needed to ensure optimum performance when using cable lengths exceeding 5 metres. A dc5v power supply is included with the unit for this eventuality.
The unit performs the input switching automatically when a signal is detected on either one of the ports. The unit is not remote control operated, but manual switching can be performed using a button positioned on the unit itself.
The unit can easily accommodate all HD resolutions right up to and including FullHD 1080p. The unit can also achieve resolutions of 1440p when used in conjuction with high performance computer graphics cards.
The unit has been designed and manufactured to the highest of standards, ensuring 100% reliable signal performance.
