Returns & Guarantees Policies

Introduction:

We understand that returns policies can be lengthy, unnecessarily complicated and frustrating things. As a rule of thumb, HD Cable's company ethos has always been to make the shopping experience as easy as possible. This includes our returns policy and procedures. We believe we have the most efficient and easy to use returns process around.

We have tried our best to make returning a genuinely faulty product extremely easy, providing the means to return the product back to us without any additional cost to the customer (a pre-paid returns packet) and an immediate replacement dispatched within 24 hours!

However, as a company we do need to protect ourselves against those 'not so genuine' faulty products, and people who wish to take advantage of a system designed to solve problems for genuine customers experiencing genuine problems. This is why we have the finer details outlined below.

HD CABLE LIFETIME GUARANTEE PROMISE

We have 100% faith in our products and we believe that their performance will never deteriorate over time. We're so confident in all of our products that we offer a worldwide lifetime replacement guarantee. If your HD Cable product ever lets you down, simply return it to us for a free replacement. We'll even provide you with a stamped addressed envelope to return the cable to us!

Lifetime Warranty: In the highly unlikely event that your HD Cable product stops functioning properly, you can return it to us for a free replacement, dispatched within 24hrs of receiving your faulty product. All you have to do is simply get the product back to us!

NB: All returned cables are tested fully. Unfortunately any faults deemed to be caused by accident, neglect, intent, or misuse will be not be entitled to a replacement product.

IMPORTANT: The HD Cable guarantee is a replacement guarantee only. Products returned outside the 7-day money back period will not be entitled to a refund.


7 Day Money Back Promise

7 Day Money Back Promise: If you change your mind about your HD Cable purchase for whatever reason, you may return the item, unused, in its original condition along with full packaging and proof of purchase within 7 days of delivery for exchange or a refund (less original postage costs). Bear in mind that HD Cable will not be liable for any return postage costs incurred by the customer in this situation.

Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage Certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.


General Product Returns (After 7 Days)

Lifetime Warranty: In the highly unlikely event that your HD Cable product stops functioning properly, you can return it to us for a free replacement, dispatched within 24hrs of receiving your faulty product. All you have to do is simply get the product back to us!

(Within 1 Year) Products (excluding cables) returned within 12 months of the delivery date will be entitled to the option of a refund.

IMPORTANT: The HD Cable guarantee outside of the initial 12-month period is a replacement guarantee only.

Products returned under the reasons of:
a) The cable length is unsatisfactory
b) The wrong cable type was purchased in error
c) The customer has changed their mind over the purchase.
Will be subject to a £5 re-stocking and administration fee. We feel this is a reasonable charge as HD Cable are not at fault and should not be liable for the additional costs incurred to resolve the situation for the customer.

NB: Products returned that are genuinely faulty will not be subject to any re-stocking/additional fees to the buyer.

All returned products are tested. If the product is found not to be faulty it will be returned to the customer without exchange or refund.

Lost or Delayed in Post Policies

1. Items sent using the customer selected Free Delivery option:
This service (as clearly stated in on all hdcable sites) is Royal Mail, First Class, which quoting Royal Mail's website ?aims deliver your purchase(s) the next working day, including Saturday?.

This service is not a trackable service so it is difficult for us to investigate the whereabouts of lost items. Proof of postage certificates are collected for all items and we can provide you with a copy if required.

Our policy on late or potentially lost items is directly in-line with Royal Mail's policy and procedures. Unfortunately we have to wait 15 working days (from the due date of delivery) before re-dispatching a replacement cable. This is because we cannot complete the required claims form. Royal Mail do not consider an item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed.

Once 15 days has passed from the due delivery date we will re-dispatch the item and commence a claim with royal mail.
