Salford City Reds Rugby League Club are at the heart of Salford.

2008 has been a momentous season for the Reds, becoming a Super League team once more, after an absence of just one season. In the 2008 season the Reds notched up an incredible amount of silverware, finishing comfortable League Leaders, winning the Northern Rail Cup and remaining unbeaten at home throughout the regular League Season.

HD Cable and the Red’s both share a highly ambitious vision for the future and we are excited that we can now be involved with that, even in just a small way. The Reds are truly at the heart of Salford and we feel a great sense of pride to be able to give the club our support and to have our brand associated with them.

This year to celebrate the Reds multitude of achievements, hdcable.co.uk generously gave away thousands of FREE commemorative ‘Super Salford!’ T-Shirts to supporters. The club were delighted to see fans join in the celebrations and wear their T-shirts to mark the win of the Northern Rail Cup and a return to Super League and thrilled as the Shed stand displayed a sea of Reds throughout the match.

Chris Pinder, MD of HD Cable said at the time “We wanted to do something for the fans to celebrate all the club’s fantastic achievements so far this year. I thought of buying all the fans a pint but that would have left out all the younger supporters! So a T-Shirt is something that fans can take away, keep and hopefully wear with pride. After yesterday’s news the ‘Super Salford!’ slogan seemed to sum up everything perfectly.”
